THAMES RIVER ADVENTURES TOUR PACKAGES
See unique views of London’s spectacular historical buildings and landmarks as you have never seen them before. We cater for both beginners and experienced kayakers and canoeists, just bring a sense of fun and adventure. The River Thames is not the only major waterway in London, a network of canals completed in the nineteenth century; connect the River with the city and some of its famous parks.

If you fancy doing something a bit more adventurous while on holiday or on your day off, then give kayaking on the River Thames a try. It's fun, it's active, and it's also a great way to see the Sights of London.
Your experience begins with an induction of safety training and an introduction to your equipment from your qualified instructor followed by an outline of your day. You will be shown a variety of skills used by the experts and you'll quickly get the hang of handling your craft. Kayaking is a fun and exhilarating experience that is difficult to beat for the sheer pleasure of powering yourself silently across the water.

TOUR PACKAGES
Sunrise romantic tours; choice of 2 packages: Price:
£75 per person
Sunrise or Sunset Tour 1.
Sunrise under Tower Bridge (usually commences about 5-6am for approximately 2 hours)
- An early morning start is not normally described as romantic although rising before dawn for a kayak on the River Thames to see the sunrise under London’s famous Tower Bridge is well worth setting the alarm for.
Sunrise or Sunset Tour 2.
Sunrise alongside Regent’s Park on Regent’s Canal (usually commences about 5-6am for approximately 2 hours)
Alternatively, take your sunrise tour alongside London’s Regent’s Park on the canal. It is a calm and peaceful way to start the day. Both tours usually start from 5-6am, depending upon the tide and the time of the Sunrise. You will meet with your Instructor who provides and guides you through your equipment and safety training. From here on in, it is pure pleasure all the way gently paddling along!
DAY TIME TOURS: 10am-3pm.
Price: £75 per person.
1. Teddington Lock Tour:
West London. Meeting at Trowlock Way, paddling upstream for a traditional English Pub lunch and then paddling downstream back to and around the picturesque Trowlock Island. This tour is gentle & enjoyable passing by the riverside London suburb of Kingston. Pub lunch is not included in the price.
2. Hampton Court Palace:
West London. Meeting at Hampton Court Palace gently paddling along the River to a riverside pub for a bite to eat and retuning to Hampton Court. Start times are variable depending upon the time of year. A paddle to lunch, and then return. In the height of the summer, a possible variation is to paddle to dinner on the River.
3. Regents Canal Tour:
Central London. The tour takes you along the edge of London Zoo and the famous buzz of Camden Town, or you can choose the Little Venice section of the canal. Paddling gently along the London canals, watching Londoners go about their daily routines, whilst you sit back and relax! Regents Canal Tours take about 2 hours.

Team building events is a fantastic way to lift morale and get your staff working together more effectively. Taking your teams out on an experience leaves a strong impression. This gives teams the opportunity to kayak, manage locks and the craft; it tests their endurance, teamwork and motivation. We cater for groups of up to six at any one time. This package is suitable for both beginners and experienced kayakers and canoeists.
This tour package is available alongside the picturesque Victoria Park, East London, or can be tailor made to your group’s requirements or location.
All equipment and qualified instructor are included.
Tailor Made Tours with Thames River Adventures;
Thames River Adventures is also available to provide tailor made packages for individuals or groups up to six, to suit your day, weekend, or week long adventure. From the source of the Thames, to The City of London.
We can tailor tours for groups of friends who have busy lives and need time to reunite, enjoying a new experience and have lots of fun!
We can provide tailor-made packages for birthdays, anniversaries or even a first date!
Gift vouchers are available for all tours, which make a novel present.
Our London base is easily accessible to the River Thames and London’s Canals.
Payment and Refund Policy
All prices are given in UK pounds sterling (£UK)
To secure a booking a ten percent non-refundable deposit is required,
with the remainder to be paid by the start of the trip. For a full
refund 28 days notice must be given. No refunds are issued within 7 days
of start date. Refunds, or partial refunds are not issued for trips that
finish early. If for any reason Thames River Adventures cancels the trip
a full refund will be given.
Reservations for trips longer than one day are calculated on the
calendar day. For a half-day booking we recommend about 4 hours. It can
start no earlier than sunrise and finish no later than sunset. (These
times are flexible depending upon location and time of year. This will
be discussed at time of booking.)
Holiday times are extremely popular; therefore throughout the season the
rates vary slightly. Please check when booking.

Access
Thames River Adventures encourages
people with disabilities to experience the kayaking, canoeing and river
adventure trips that we arrange. In line with the British Canoe Union we
use the concept of Paddle-Ability, that is; what you can do, not what
you cannot do. If you have a disability or a member of your group is
disabled and you would like to organise a trip please ask Thames River
Adventures staff who are experienced in these areas.
